About AARF Animal Rescue and Sanctuary

Our monthly 50/50 Raffle Draw provides a steady stream of revenue that, in addition to buying food, medical services, and providing housing, helps pay the administrative costs not covered by donations and/or grants.

Located on 10 acres which were donated to AARF, we currently have six bunkhouses to accommodate our dogs. The barn was converted to include a “meet and greet” room, a volunteer room, office, storage and more. A “tiny” house was built on the property, with a second one currently under construction, to allow staff to be on-site 24/7.

Funded by donations, in January 2020 an off leash play yard was opened.

AARF offers adoption, rescue, and sanctuary to all dogs in need. While they work with dogs within Arizona, they are now branching out to other states and countries.

Fundraising, Donations and Volunteers, as well as public awareness and support are critical to making our rescue a success.
