“The Wichita Wagonmasters are a civic minded organization with one goal, making Wichita the best city we possibly can. We have been supporting Wichita for over 50 years and are excited to be hosting our annual Downtown Chili Cook off! This is our largest and most important fund raiser as it allows us as Wagonmasters to do what we do best, supporting the community. Our mission throughout the year can be broken down into 3 main areas: 1.) supporting local charities, which can usually be attributed to us helping them in their own missions by providing cooking, supplies, and equipment with us averaging over 25,000 meals served on a yearly basis; 2.) our annual Turkey drive in partnership with the Fraternal Order of Police, that has grown to helping over 300 families a year in the Wichita community; 3.) our Good Life Grants, which provides direct donations to small and local charities in Wichita, has given over $200,000 since it began in 2012.”
